The buttermilk flavor actually comes through in every bite, even after toasting, and the 10g of protein makes them feel like a real breakfast rather than a snack. I've been keeping a bag in the freezer for busy mornings and they're ready before my coffee finishes brewing.
Popped a couple in the toaster before work and they came out crispy on the edges but still fluffy inside. That whole-grain texture actually holds up, and the vanilla comes through without being fake. My kids didn't even notice they were the "healthy" ones.
Microwaved one pack this morning and was shocked at how fluffy they stayed. The 10g of protein actually kept me full until lunch, which is rare for frozen breakfast stuff. These are going into the weekly rotation for sure.
